Our Ability to image cells has come a long way since the pioneering days of Galileo Galilei and Antonie van Leeuwenhoek.
The multiple imaging techniques available today range from simple light microscopy through to high-throughput three-dimensional (3D) confocal imaging. Deciding which technique to use depends on the application, expertise and budget.
